Canary Wood is called Tarara in Brazil.  This is a beautiful exotic wood that has the colors of Tulip Wood.  Colors can range from red, yellow, orange, green, tan and browns.  Mature trees grow to a height up to 100 ft with a diameter up to 3 ft.  To fill your grinder just unscrew the bottom and insert your favorite pepper or grinder salt. Has a food grade finish to protect the wood.  Grinder height: 5 3/4"
