This hand turned peppermill is turned from Spalted Tamarind. Tamarind is planted throughout many countries in the world for its fruit which is popular in jams, juices, candies and drinks.  This wood is from Laos.  Mature trees grow to a height up to 60 ft with a diameter up to 2 ft. To fill your grinder just unscrew the bottom and insert your favorite pepper or grinder salt. The peppermill is fully adjustable with just a twist of the top knob below the spring. This will make your grind from fine to coarse. Fill with your favorite pepper corns. Has food grade finish.
