This Stainless-Steel grinder can be used to grind salt or pepper.  Just unscrew the bottom and fill with your favorite salt or pepper. This grinder is hand turned from Maple Burl and the voids are filled with a food safe gun metal resin.  This Maple Burl pattern is an abnormal growing condition and is sought after by many woodworkers.  This Maple is from Oregon.  The Maple trees grow to a height of 100 feet with a diameter up to 3 feet. Polished and sealed with a food grade finish.
